France had a lot of similar problems in the 1920s and it was a pretty fun place to be then. American wine and beer are much better than they ever were in the past. Do you foresee any internal threats and pain other than watching the cost of everything rising? Right this minute, for the first time ever, I find that Republicans have got hold of an issue where they are 100% right: building nuclear power plants. Some of them can even pronounce the word "nuclear".
