The fact that people in NYC basically freaked out over what has to be the dumbest stunt in a while tells you that the wounds aren't that far from the surface.

This is quite similar to the Clinton haircut episode on LAX during his first term. The media and high level FAA covered his ass saying no airliners (and thousands of passengers) were delayed. It is all BS. I know for a fact.

This so called photo op in NYC did not go without impacting normal airline operations. But no one (READ NO ONE) in the media will ask a question of the FAA/airline people who are in a position to give a precise and truthful answer.

Any FAA comments will be made by those who were put in their seat by obama, biden and emanuel.

End of story.

He better hope that our enemies are not organized enough for a major strike. It happens once and he's over.

No, people would rally round him in the event of a strike, like they rallied round Bush in 2001. But woe betide him if he fails to respond forcefully.
