If there is anything unconscionable going on, it is the politicizing of this issue at the expense of American soldiers.

The idea of reopening the old wound of Abu Ghraib by releasing these photos is just one more example of an incompetent president. He has the power, he wants to consolidate that power, and believes that rubbing salt in this old wound will do that. Unfortunately, it will also, very possibly, result in the deaths of one or more American soldiers. And there are numerous other side effects that no competent president would lead us into.

It is gross incompetence. Any way you cut it.
