A pandemic is an epidemic (a sudden outbreak) that becomes very widespread and affects a whole region, a continent, or the world.

So Virginia doesn't qualify, sorry.

We had a pandemic flu in Virginia in February and March of 2009.

A "pandemic" by definition couldn't occur in Virginia.

Compared to Katrina - grade the government on how they respond. If they fail as Bush did then lay into them. If the Obama administration responds.....then government is working. And if that happens - not saying it will - but if it does, republicans will shrink further into their failed messages.

MJ...If everyone is talking about the flu there minds are not on spending. Or one the maybe underage moslums that were ordered shot. I do believe they deserved it, it's just that if Bush had ordered the same thing the left media would want him charged with murder.
