My undergrad degree is in micorbiology and biochem. Your statement concerning the lethality of flu vs. black pague is utterly ridiculous. Well woop d doo! I feel like I need to use a pointer stick and chart for you. I said the flu could have the potential of the Black Plague and if you learned your lessons in school then you would know that. Quit literally the flu has the potential with the right genetic makeup to kill everyone! There is no connection between economic recovery and flu prep. Not the prep - jeepers do I need spell this out for you too? The downside from a loss of economic activity is where the fear is. Remember China and SARS and ho they said that impacted their economy? Mexico is now saying the same thing.
