Problem is, with modern transport (i.e, jetliners) which wasn't available in 1918, transmission is much more rapid geographically. Besides, Summers and Geithner (who effectively are the Meat Puppets for the dictators of Amerikkka) can't have the sheeple panic at all costs right now. A few million deaths are inconsequential to them in the big scheme of things, as long as Chipotle and BWLD make their numbers! So expect soothing pronouncements, "Nothing to see here folks, just move along" kind of press releases, whether or not this is the Big One virologically speaking.<NG>
