I'm so sorry to hear of your loss sandintoes. Watching my wife after putting down her last cat was just heart wrenching to me. It truly is very much like losing a close family member after 15 years. Even though it sounds like it was definitely time it doesn't make it any easier. So sorry.

Oh..........I'm sorry. It is so hard and the hole that is left in the heart for our little dear doggies never goes away. Poor little guy! He's not suffering any longer and that is some comfort. Do you have a picture you could post here so we can see Arthur?

Oh, Rudi, how I feel for you! There is nothing like that pain. I am so so sorry. In time, those memories will warm your heart, but now is the time to grieve.

Sweet little Arthur.

Oh Rudi....I'm so sorry to hear of your loss of Arthur. He was such a cute little thing. There are no easy ways to get over the death of our little best friends, but after the tears comes the rainbow...you will remember him always, and sometimes just LOL to yourself when thinking of some of his earlier antics. They certainly do bring joy and unconditional love to us, that's for sure.

Go do something nice for yourself today....I went out and bought a little picture frame when we lost Princey...I love to think about him running all over the yard, chasing butterflies in the summer.

Rudi - I am so sorry you lost your precious little Arthur. The pain really goes deep, as most of us here know from our own experiences. Makes me tear up just thinking about what you're going through - my sincere sympathies.

Rudi, I'm so sorry to hear this. It is never easy and the loss of a loved pet is just as heart wrenching as the loss of a close friend or family member. Treasure your memories of Arthur, and with time the hurt of losing him will ease some, but you'll always miss him.

I am so very sorry. It is never long enough for the owner, you are right! Well, I know Arthur is OK now and maybe soon, after meeting all his dog friends who have gone before him, he will meet our Maggie and they will wait for us. Meanwhile, my heart goes out to you...

Love,
f

That was probably the kindest thing you ever did for your dog. He didn't have plans for the future.

Dear Rudi, you know we are all touched by your loss. Both I and everyone else here wishes you comfort during this difficult time. My mom lost Raisin #2 before Christmas and she was devastated. She chose to get a Raisin #3 and still speaks of her lost friend, but her new baby has helped her. Everyone deals with lost pets in their own way, but if you choose to have another, it's nothing to feel guilty for.

Peace Be With You,

Josh

Rudi, I am very sorry to read about your loss. I have always had a dog in my life and their passings have always been very difficult for me. All that unconditional love! I would be lost without my Harris.

ARTHUR

Arthur my friend, you have touched me more
Than many not counted or entering my door
Faithful to the end and never doing no wrong
You're a friend of friends all your days long.

It is I who have truly been blessed with your life
A good little puppy that caused me no strife
So much you gave me all your days long
Rarely complaining, you gave me your song

Your gift is priceless and alone without measure
Dear Arthur you have given me only but pleasure
Someday we will meet on that distant shore
And you will be that puppy again, the one I adore.

i think you once emailed me a picture of your great pup. seemed like a great friend to me.

pups really do have a lot of talents....they light up nursing homes, they can help blind folks, along with many other talents..

however cats i never seem to get along with. cats are very unfriendly
