Well,, perhaps a pregnant chad. Normally I would say the tape does not lie. But this is such an odd case that it is impossible to see what number comes up next. Remember ENMD the stock which opened at 85 from 11? Here it could well be that market makers saw various stops and rounded up shares until nothing came forward. Or a leak (as I remember that Dendreon raised the bar by leaking data back in October). Anyways, the fact that the stock will get halted a few minutes after was probably known in the marketplace.
