Specter says he's switching from GOP to Democrats A reasonable man surrounded by increasingly hysterical nut jobs. Can you blame him? Probably feels like he just escaped the asylum. What's amazing is that Specter has run successfully for office for decades. He's overcome cancer. He's an intelligent and reasonable man. And yet, they decided to fukk with him. The GOP has lost all sense of logic and rationality. And that's a warning to us. The ideologues have completely taken control of the party and we all know ideologues are the people that need close monitoring.
