hospital will not keep you.. only alternative would be nursing home.

most people will not care for loved ones at home. either not strong enough, takes a tremendous amount of physical effort to be able to handle a sick person, or neglect them.

it seems today the significant other is disposable too once they get terminally sick or require on going care.
