Alex, I think the most interesting sentence was:
''Meanwhile, demand in Asia, at least in India, is holding up. Who do you think bought all the gold that was sold Friday?''
Remember, their gold has been increasing in value in local currency. So they could sell gold for 30% profit if their currency dropped 30% but instead they are buying!!! Remember, gold is only down in US funds.
