How come we're always told he was *furious* about something or another that he knew or should have known about all along?
Last time it was the AIG bonuses that made him *furious*.

Perhaps the word "furious" is a bit strong.

How about, "The President got his 'panties in a knot' when told about the fly-over?"

So the answer is that a glamour shot of this nature was just unnecessary.

Someone with knowledge of Photoshop could recreate this shot for you in a few hours for a few hundred bucks, instead of the $328K. But hey, it's just taxpayer money, let's piss it away. That is the attitude of government and this administration in particular.
