Well, if it turns out that things went down further, we can always move on to the next market-timing "guru" that comes along!

Dow 7000 is an important psychological point. I hope we don't have a closing below that. As John Neff said in this year's Barron's Roundtable -- if there is a decline of 20%, then we could go all the way to down 35%, because down 20% is when the "little guys" begin to lose courage...

We are at about 10% off the Dow's peak (8299) or 7469.I believe he last said that any correction should be within 10%. I assume he meant 10% from the Dow's closing peak. Which does mean we may be there if his call is right.

Looking at the Dow right now-perhaps he meant 10% in 1 day?Melt down!
