We've already agreed the idea of closing the border is ludicrous, right? Not because it is a bad idea, as much as because it is impossible at this point in time. So far Pandemic is an iffy term and apparently we are needing to define the levels of Pandemic and the associate risks and recommendations depending on the level identified. However, where possible, closures or even quarantine at the time of a deadly pandemic is a smart move. That's why some schools have been closed and why CDC is working so hard to identify the paths of the spreading contagion.
