todays the 20th anniversary of the berlin wall demise. On MSNBC nice piece on papa bush and helmut kohl. Bush stayed in the background and kohl said he was essential to this happening. In the background bush convinced brits and french to push for reunification. We spend a lot of time on this thread talking about carter, reagan, clinton and bush jr. We never give enough credit to Bush srs four year stint. I rate him high and wish i had voted for him a second time instead of clinton.
