<Just what we need in this country is the further promotion of idea that there is something superior in setting yourself apart from others.>

Right on! Let's all be the same! If you're expecting an ad campaign from Apple that touts the homogeneity of coporate America, I suggest you don't hold your breath during the wait (remember the "1984" ad?). Jobs has already declared that he's targeting the ed. market, and while this may not do squat for the stock, it may explain the "Think Different" ads.

<Should you not be willing to do this, then you really have no chance to change the world, you never have and you never will.>

The "this" in the above sentence refers to a person setting him or herself apart from "others" (read: normal people), though I don't know that this really reflects the true spirit of the ad. Rather, I read "Think Different" as a call for a society full of people who think for themselves rather than strive for the status quo. I believe this is a worthwhile goal, I believe Steve Jobs thinks this is a worthwhile goal, and I believe the majority of the Mac users I know think this is a worthwhile goal. Unfortunately, our beliefs do little to influence the movement of this stock. Which is fine with me as long as I can still use my Mac.

Good luck to all.

Mark
