Yep, they're getting ready for a world without us to paraphrase the promo for the surprisingly hilarious National Geographic series "Life without People".....

Hilarious? Consider the most recent episode: Featured how London would fare after people were gone from the scene. Focused on Buckingham Palace and it's remaining residents, Queen Elizabeth's Welsh Corgis. Stated they'd have an ample supply of water (showed them drinking from one of the Palace's 80 or so toilets). Food? They were dining in the pantry on the remaining caviar and canapes. Later after they exhausted supplies and "broke out" of their velvet prison they were seen foraging in the garbage cans.....

While I'm on the subject of TV, there is one new series worth a look, on AMC called "Breaking Bad". It's about a 50-something chemistry teacher who's diagnosed with lung cancer, so decides to turn to the dark side and takes up Meth production and dealing. Say what? But quite edgy and quite funny in a very dark way.
