Uh.....there were way too many people in CA like you.....unwilling to pay the price that was needed to keep the state running smoothly. I don't run my life that way......why would I want to live in a state that does? Speaking of which, did you know that WA state percentage wise has as big a revenue shortfall as CA? You haven't heard much about it because the governor and legislature did what had to be done to rectify the imbalance. You didn't hear about it because there wasn't a lot of drama. No one was real happy with the solutions but everyone made whatever compromise needed to be done to make it happen. Life ain't easy so the best you can hope for is that the people in charge act responsibly and rationally when things get bad.....as they inevitably do.
