What in the world does "single payer" have to do with "Everybody in. Nobody out"

Those are separate issues. One is fundamentally important, the other is irrelevant at best, counterproductive more likely. Can you guess which is which?

that is the question.

also, we need to get people to take better care of themselves and should some of the cost burden. a millionaire elderly person should pay more (has more, more use) than an 18 year old unemployed kid.

the problem is that the millionaire elderly folks want the kid to subsidize their health care.

generally speaking, of course. there are exceptions.

Single Payer : No Thank You.

I prefer to row my own boat.
I don't want to be "we are all in the same boat".

And I don't see any thing in the Constitution authorizing this.
