Alaska charges the oil companies so much for the people's crude that not only do they not pay taxes, they get some of the oil company's profits to put in their own bank accounts.

Now that's Socialism you can believe in.

But why not take it nationwide? All this oil on American soil, on the people's land? Drill baby drill. Just charge them enough tribute that none of us have to pay federal taxes, and enough so all of us get to put a cut of their profits in our own pockets.

Why should Alaska get all the Socialism to themselves?
