BC has been very hard but easing up in recent years, and forestry is so completely devastated that jobs are more welcome than usual ... ask onepath, he's closer and probably more up on local feeling, but unless there was some sticky issue on which anti-miners can get excited, i would say permitting would be possible ... lengthy of course, it's still BC ... not familiar with the company or site lately, just talking general sentiment, and i'm quite happy holding trx.v with their Mt Milligan north of there Lots of volume the last four days ... 6m shs would be seven per cent of the company, sounds like an institution of some sort, one big position, so a single decision has been made by somebody ... could be any of a number of reasons, a highly informed mining geologist making a scientific judgment of its economic prospects wouldn't be the one i'd pick as most likely, chances are some fund manager found a new object of his desire and decided he was weary of an old one, or he had redemptions and had no choice, with maybe an element of window-dressing, not wanting to keep a loser on the books in case people noticed ... who knows, but i doubt it can be taken as meaningful in re project viability ... note that all those shares got bought, so who's right and who's wrong, hard to say at this point, by itself it means nothing imho ... how much cash do they have, if they were trying to finance now that could be a bit sticky Just checked insiders, nothing showing except two little buys by Groves in march You're welcome in re Kootenay, i think <gulp> ... everybody should check things out for themselves, make their own judgments, this one has impressed me, top-notch people involved and a well-thought business plan ... they won't get valuation now for the whole generative/JV setup, but it's brilliant and will blow the roof off one day, in the right market environment ... meantime Promontorio is shaping up to the size Jim McD figured it would, now to see if the grade keeps going, we shall see
