health care is rising 2x inflation - that's not sustainable.

Partly for the same reasons that the cost of college education is inflating similarly. Is inflation in the cost of education the fault of insurance?

in addition, private health care providers are quick to find any reason to disqualify people who paid when an expensive condition arises.

Perhaps you mean insurance providers, not health care providers?? How has the auto insurance system dealt with this issue, and what might health care insurance learn from that?

The fundamental problems in health cost and health insurance have zero to do with single payer or multiple payers, yet plenty of people run around yapping as though they do. No wonder nothing ever gets solved.
