Yes, but 500 then was N%, whereas today we've only seen 5%. I think
maybe tomorrow might be a good chance to go long, but I'd do it with out of the money options, and I'd stagger my entries on stocks I thought were good values over a 48 hour period, if things looked ok

Once people step back and THINK, then the market will start upwards again

If people had really been thinking, the market would never have gone up this high in the first place.

Sold my DJXWY puts a bit early (2 1/2) and watched then go to 4 1/4. Bought FNM 50 calls. Now I'm beginning to rethink the wisdom of that move.

People should have stepped back to think about a year ago. And then sold.

It seems to me that most people on this thread are steppers back and thinkers.
