>>Why do you persist in posting silly nonsense such as this? Do you think that everyone who is sceptical about carbon dioxide emissions having an apocalyptic effect on the global climate, therefore doesn't "worry about nuclear weapons" or is in favor of "the spread of lead, mercury and radiation or pollution in general"?

Ideological stereotyping is not only stupid, but a waste of time. A "neener, neener, I'm 100% right and you're 100% wrong" attitude accomplishes nothing, when coming from either side of a debate, as does setting up a straw man argument and then bashing away at it..<<

All I did was ask some questions. And it was certainly not ideological. And they all seemed very practical and fair questions to me and were based on previous posts by BCB, Brumar and Hawk. I have not heard one word from those three regarding solutions to the above potential problems.

Anyone can ask me any question. I won't be insulted, I will just answer it. Pure and simple like.

It seems to me BCB, Brumar and Hawk all feel anyone who even poses the idea of global warming, is just causing hysteria over nothing. That is what they have been saying I think. Am I wrong? And I thought I was being quite polite, logical and fair?

So tell me how you feel, should we address the possibility of global warming at all or forget it? Or the vast amounts of mercury being spread around the world via coal fired power plants? The last administration did nothing in either of those cases.

Or is the idea of even raising these questions somehow impolite?

There are a great many who say global warming is pure nonsense and a great fraud. In fact Tom Delay and James Inhof when he was chairman of the Senate environmental committee both said it was the largest fraud every prepetrated on the human species. They had no intention of doing anything and didn't do anything.

In fact, in the last 8 years, that administration did not address any of the above problems that I am aware of.

I am just asking questions?
