It isn't secret, anymore than the daily conference call with Rahm, Stephanopolous, Begala and Carville.

From an ethical POV, I cannot imagine how Steph. does his weekly show without disclosing this connection. It seems to me to be a blatant conflict of interests, yet it not only is permitted to exist, he doesn't even bother to disclose it.
