The point here is that Obama has the ability to protect the lives of the soldiers and he is choosing not to do so. There is no value in releasing these photos, other than to denigrate America in the eyes of others. You really don't understand, do you? Denigrate America? Its a little late to be worrying about America's image. Al Qaida and the third world loved the way we behaved during the past 8 years. We played right into their sorry hands. Meanwhile, our friends and allies were surprised and put off by our behavior. Thanks to Bush and his cronies, America lost the high ground. It became do as I say, not as I do. It will take a long time to regain that high ground if ever. In fact, given what's happening on Wall Street, with the banks and with the corporate world and couple that with the growing regionalism in the country, we may be seeing the end of the American empire and eventually the country as we know it. I believe this is a pivotal point in our history....as pivotal as was the civil war.
