Immigrants are fine. Controlling the border is another matter.
Remains to be seen the extent of this swine flu. Right now, appears to be not that big of a deal. Should it go epidemic I hate to see options taken off the table for political reasons.

Flu season is just ending here but it's just starting in the southern hemisphere. I think that may be why the WHO is so worried.

The thing is spreading like wildfire. If it becomes more malicious the human race is in big trouble.
