Look at $TNX. Ben and Goldman Sucks (aka the PPT) can't both buy Treasuries and support the stock market indefinitely. If they start to lose control of financing the deficit for the Treasury on the cheap, they'll crash the stock market (Fed will withdraw liquidity), driving the lemmings back into "risk aversion" - Treasuries and cash.
