I know I am already paying for a lot of care right now, and it is pretty ineffective and expensive.

Do you think emergency room visits will really drop enough to make up for the cost of opening clinics for poor people ?

Poor people will still use emergency rooms, because many of them tend not to think ahead, they do stupid things, etc.

There will still be an increase in what I have to pay. Alot of money is being spent ineffectively now - and you want to spend MORE ?

Now if we need training programs so that people can learn marketable skills, with which they can earn more money, that I will support. I may even want to partially subsidize some industries, like South Carolina did with the BMW plant, so more jobs are available. Then they can pay for their needs out of their own pockets.
