Please. I haven't defined torture here. You're the guy saying it happened, I'm just asking you to tell me the attributes of "torture" are, so that we can communicate about it.

So, what precisely is it about Christ's torture, waterboarding, nudity in prisons, etc., that common thread that makes these things torture. It could be, "Making someone do something they don't want to do". Or, it could be, "inflicting pain" or something else.

It is an honest effort to understand what your definition of torture is. Is it, "I can't define it but I know it when I see it?" Is it creating fear in the victim?

An honest answer, please.
