Any credence to this argument?

I have always held that the greatest misuse of naked short selling comes from your broker. An investor enters a buy order on an exchange and the broker simply never buys the the stock. It is merely an electronic entry in the internal electronic broker system. The stock declines and the investor sells, the broker declares a 'trading profit'. You know this happens all the time. Have you ever heard of one single case where the SEC has taken a brokerage to task.

Ok.. I'll give him a lot of credit for posting that response from Byrne..

Now if he could just get it posted in the NYT and not on his blog.. ;0)

It's going to take grass-roots outrage to stop this BS.
