Brumar--- For ted its a blind spot. Remember he supported south ossetia and russian intervention in the dispute with GA because he views GA as neocon state. With all the horrors that go on in this world, the sad thing is that Ted sometimes focuses only on tiny vulnerable states like israel and georgia because they are neocon, highly capitalist, successful etc. Bleeding hearts apparently also pick their places it seems. Not that Ted doesnt care about Darfur--he will be for a war before he will be against it, if it goes bad.

(Ted--i say israel is tiny and vulnerable from a long term strategic and demographic perspective--yes i know they have nukes and that for the time being they are the 1000 lb gorilla in the mideast..But they are the gorilla because they have been forced into it. When faced with terror and 100mm folks on your borders and nearby who want you dead as a state, as a people and as individuals, sometimes you do things that are not nice and refined.)
