Why not? We (in the USA) paid for the whole damned thing with disaster money to replace housing, businesses, infrastructure and a couple million in grants from the the Department of Energy. Now if your home town is blown off the map, you will likely have similar opportunities.

Some factoids absorbed from "Marketplace" on NPR today: We have a nine month nationwide backlog of unsold single family homes. We have an eighteen month nationwide backlog of unsold condominiums. Many banks will not make ANY loans for condominiums in some cities. Some high rise condominium buildings are blacklisted for loans.
