So, what exactly are those commissions going to accomplish? Until this the the real answer to that was: placate the Arabs by implicitly promising that Israel will be delivered to them piece by piece. The irony of the timing is that the Arab states now understand that Iran has become a REAL threat to their safety and independence, unlike Israel, which only hurt their pride by surviving successfully. So now they NEED Israel. They know their own armies are just for show! At best, they can keep internal order.
