I occasionally used to listen to Michael Savage - but gave that up as not worth my time. However, my memory is that he used to say Liberalism is a mental disorder - or something like that. Perhaps on that point he was correct.

If human beings were rational, the Palestinian problem would not exist. Things would have settled a looong time ago. However, we are all nuts in our own ways.

There may be a split in the Jewish vote between Zionists and anti-Zionists. There were certainly many in the Jewish community who opposed the establishment of Israel. I have lefty Jewish friends who are soft peddling their support of Israel, because it's become the "party line."
