The most visible capital coming is Chinese but the former colonial masters are still inventing but this time not being the only investors.

UAE and Kuwait invest heavily in Mobile networks.
Brazil imvest in Lusophone Africa
South Africa invest in southern Africa
US invest in oil inAngola, Ghana and Nigeria

From 1700 to just after WWII Portuguese, English, French, German, Italian and Belgium capital was invested in Africa to extract materials.

The western capital dried up as the countries gained independence, populations balooned and leaders implemented lousy policies and gought civil wars. Africa stagnated and only now capital is being invested again in Africa.
