I've mentioned before my shame for having voted for McGovern when I was 18 and other than primaries, I've never voted for a Democrat again. I can't help but feel than years from now a great many young people who were swept up in Obama's novelty will feel quite different. Then again, some people never grow up.

I think the reason is that liberal ideas are sugar-coated with soft terminology, are based on emotions and articulated good intentions, and are not required to actually succeed in order for success to be declared. Good intentions and a stab at it are sufficient.

It's the same reason there can no longer be winners and losers in school. The only thing important to liberal academicians is that the student *tries.*

After the age of 7, this immature mind set is entirely counter-productive.

There are levels of *trying*, which such people don't appreciate. If you started grading the intensity of *effort*, you'd be back to grading per se.

And if you do that, you understand why there are some people who earn only $30,000/year, while others are supposedly *rich* at $250K.

It's the same reason that, if you took all the wealth in the country and divided it evenly among all US citizens, in very short order you'd still have low-income and high income
classes.

Not even the Wiz, Barry Obama, can change that reality.
