This whole mess definitely started when the some currency traders started attacking the Hong Kong currency. Now people realized that even strong economy and tons of foreign reserve will not spare you from the malicious attack by some people, and everybody becomes very nervous because this could happen to U.S. Not too long ago, some Fed officials tried to blame the countries themselves for the currency crisis. I hope they realize now that in a global currency market every country can be a victim, and the attack on other countries's currency for the sole purpose of bring it down must be regulated.
