I missed it live, but this vid says it all.

The announcer didn't even know who the horse was as it snuck through the field and jumped into the lead. You can hear the delay and confusion as the announcer is trying to figure out which horse in in the lead.

Talk about a fairy tale come true. Kinda like Susan Boyle

Most exciting race in a long time. The jockey is so likeable and it was just a wonderful story for racing. Reminded me of the movie Casey's Shadow a bit. MP
