Are you concurring the life exists elsewhere in the universe???

It could. I have no idea whether it does or not. BTW it was an ID guy who came up with the concept of galactic habitable zones, describing the parts of galaxies in which life could exist.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

And BTW, the presence of planets does not necessarily indicate the presence of life..

No but there need to be some planets in the universe in order for life to exist. Ours for instance. And the universe's size and forces and the characteristics of the big bang all need to have been as they are and were or the universe would have no stars or planets.

There was a time not too long ago when religionists didn't believe other planets existed.

"Religionists" which means the vast majority of people have known about planets like Mars and Saturn for thousands of years.

Has common sense ever invaded your brain?

Yes. How about yours?

------------------------------------------------------------------

You're not going to understand this but, the universe consists of about 100 elements, the simplest being hydrogen, ie one proton, one electron....all the rest are simply additions of neutrons or protons that increase the mass and atomic number and change the electrical and chemical properties of those elements....

I think I actually understand that as well as you do.

I doubt that, but I'm happy to see you google.....

Sure, I also took chemistry classes in HS and college.

Those additions would have occurred through nuclear fusion, ie the big bang.

Wrong. The big bang only resulted in helium and hydrogen. Heavier elements were formed through nuclear fusion in stars.

The stars formed as a result of the Big Bang causing further reactions , random reactions based on nuclear structure, etc....

It wasn't inevitable that stars occur. The mass and gravitational forces of the universe have to be what they are or very close or matter would never come together to form stars.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

All subsequent reactions occurred by electrical attraction or repulsion or collisions of atoms or molecules..... After 12 billion years, can you tell me what might have been????

I can tell you what I don't believe couldn't have occurred. The random collision of atoms wouldn't result in information encoded via a genetic code in chemical bonds.

Just as the random collision of atoms wouldn't result in a book filled with information encoded in a written language. Just as the random collision of atoms wouldn't result in information programmed on a silicon chip.

Your imagination can't comprehend how random collisions cause reactions to occur but you absolutely believe that a man could walk on water and rise from the dead....

I can imagine extraordinary things happening via interaction of the creator with the universe. Some things seem to incredible to believe they could happen by chance.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Imagine you are in a giant room filled with shelves of thousands of chemicals some more common than others...what will happen if you happened to mix an hydrochloric acid solution with sodium hydroxide???? Viola!! Sodium Chloride, salt!!

Writing information in chemical bond codons is a bit different than combining elements to make salt,

------------------------------------------------------------------

In the billions of years life has been evolving DNA has also been evolving and it doesn't take much of a change in DNA to create a different life form....compare man and a mouse....

I was talking about the origin of life, not evolution.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Information isn't programmed on a silicon chip by a collision of atoms, the programming is done by electrically changing the on and off state of the device which can then be read electrically....

Information isn't programmed on a silicon chip by accidental random processes that occur naturally, its done by rational actors ie intelligent designers.
