just be sure to ask your doctor friends *exactly* why obesity and chronic disease are so closely correlated.

Look, I get it. You're convinced we have no need for traditional medicine because it is all about how we eat.

I have pointed out on this thread numerous times that a massive portion of American's health problems stem from our lifestyles. I don't know how I could have been clearer.

So, you want to argue about something we apparently don't disagree on.

The only real difference here is I don't know of a single physician, anywhere, who doesn't comprehend the adverse consequences of obesity when it comes to our health. They all know it. Any family practice doc can tell you that and can tell you why. And any physician has a reasonably good understanding of the rationale.

But docs also have to treat what they can affect.
