i-node, no cop outs - ask them. don't assume it.

i know a retired internal medical doctor and he has no clue.

that is anecdotal, but it is more 100% more evidence than you presented.

1. exactly why are obesity and chronic disease so closely correlated?
2. why do high carb, low fat diets drive hunger and why is a diet that will increase hungry dramatically recommended to lose weight.
3. do you recommend fish oil when you put someone on statins, why or why not?
4. and just for kicks - ask them to explain what an eicosanoid is and why they are important to the development of chronic disease.

i eagerly await the answers. i bet they end up as follows:

1. we don't really know for sure
2. hmmmm... what do you mean it drives hunger?
3. fish oil? no. why would i?
4. eicosanoid? hmmmmm... i'm getting pretty busy - gotta go. i'll get back to you - can you spell that for me please?

prove me wrong - but no assumptions. i want honest off the cuff answers from these doctors you know.

let's take the debate here:
