"Oil will never again hit $60 in your lifetime." I had to check the date and notice that I missed tagging the top only by a few days. Also that was the most emotional post I can recall ever making. What a mistake! In retrospect, I see that I was believing the news (out of New York sources) and not thinking. Yes I was definitely leaning the wrong way in commodities then. Every day is a learning experience in the markets. Some more than others. Looking back from here I am amazed at how different the world looks economically versus at the end of the big commodity bull run last summer. Hank Paulson put an end to that.
