Of course there is great need among the poor. But when we stop caring about where our resources come from and how they are developed we have nothing for the poor to draw from. When you socialists see the government wealth as the solution to all problems, the wealth generating sources disappear, and the government coffers are soon drained, with no well of wealth to restore them.
