I don't claim I can rise from the dead, turn water into wine, etc. So what good would it do to test my abilities?

BTW I wouldn't make the claim science can prove the miracles of the NT happened. I will only claim that the Gospels include eyewitness testimony from the time. Thats historical evidence, though I wouldn't claim its scientific evidence. I don't think science can prove or disprove anything with regard to Jesus.

Water is the same today as it was then....make some wine!
And when you're done, go out and walk on water<>/i>

Its not water thats the issue. Its that I don't have divine powers.

And you have no idea what the genetic code is all about from a scientific standpoint. I would guess you're impressed with it cause you know what results from "EXPERIMENTS" on it....

I suspect I know more than you about it from my personal readings. I'm impressed because I can understand it contains symbolically encoded information .... exactly like a book or programmed information. I believe information doesn't get encoded except by someone intelligent. As Hugh said here, if we received symbolically encoded information from space, we'd know someone intelligent was out there sending us a message. Well, when we see something just like it encoded in our DNA, the conclusion that someone or something intelligent is behind that seems pretty obvious.
