And the economy had been sputtering before then. Right. The economy began sputtering -- guess when? About the same time as the Ds started bashing it. It's the economy, stupid. The Ds figured that out 16 years ago. You bash it enough, people start to believe it, and presto -- you have a genuine campaign issue. Only thing is, this time they bashed just a little too hard and the voters freaked when they realized we were going to get Obama in office. The children voted him in. And we have a man with the experience of a college student running the country. It damned well shows.
