I can't understand why the CIA is packed with liberals.

It started out when the OSS was "Oh So Social." All Ivy League types. One of the main reasons is the languages required. The OSS types hired a lot of Mormons in the 50's because they had the languages, but they didn't like them. So they went back to the eastern Ivy's for trainees. Who are all BA types. They get their cowboys from the military, but don't let them run things.

So you end up with upper management that are almost all Ivy League Liberals. Backed up by a corps of women bureaucrats who came aboard as secretaries and worked their way up into middle management. Almost all Dems.

Remember George Tenet? Remember where he came from? Remember that GWB chose to leave him in office?

The republicans in congress and Bush were very helpful in what we see in the CIA today.
