That's the way it's always been, and will always be.
But, don't get discouraged.
There are millions of people who "know" ... but, just don't know
what to do, or who are afraid to do something on their own.
We live in a tribal culture. People are afraid to go against
the grain, or to act on their own.
And that's why the grassroots uprising of millions of Americans
who attended Tea Parties and "End The Fed" demonstrations,
scares the living hell out of them.
The politicians now know - we know.
We know they sold us out.
We know they lined their pockets while the banksters
raped, pillaged, and looted America.
Sure, there's a huge percentage of the public that doesn't
know who their Governor, or Senator are, and don't care to know.
But, from the politically informed, AND now from those who've
lost their jobs, their homes, their savings, and their futures...
there's no more hiding.
The 'gig is up.
And they know it.
The people of Connecticut know Chris Dodd got sweetheart
mortgages from Angelo Mozilo, they know he stuffed his
pockets with both hands with lobbyist money, they know
he lied to their face on the steps of Congress on national
television, and they know he sold out America to the banksters.
A career politician who has never worked an honest day in
his entire life. And Congress and the Senate are filled
with them.
The great awakening that is happening in America - is the
realization that both parties and our political system are
now broken and corrupt beyond repair.
I believe we're witnessing the birth of a third party. I don't
know if it will be the Libertarian Party, or something new.
I suspect something new.
I'll have a couple of mega-rants coming soon that will
better answer your question.
Most people feel in their gut, and know deep down, that this
is something more than a garden variety recession.
And they know they're witnessing something much greater and
broader in scope, than protecting America from terrorism.
When crooked members of Congress and foreign spies walk
away unscathed, and 16 year old kids & Farmers with
fruit & vegetable stands get Swat Teamed by 13 Fed's
... something's wrong.
When our returning troops are called "potential terrorists,"
when anyone refuses to vote for a "bought and paid for"
Democrat, or Republican, and who would dare put a Ron Paul
bumper sticker on the car, are labeled "modern militia members"
... something's wrong.
When Congress get's bum rushed behind closed doors in the
dark of night, and billions get handed to banksters, and
we get our credit card rates doubled, and our taxes raised
...something's wrong.
When a War on Terror involves "constitution free zones" and
steamrolls over Posse Comitatus, and Free Speech is called
Hate Speech, and the Fed thumbs it's nose at Congress and
say's - "it's none of your business where the money went"
...something's wrong.
Naomi Wolfe laid out the 10 historic steps that every single
fascist government in history has taken. She expected Obama
to change that... as did millions. But, there's been no
change of direction in a single one of those 10 steps.
Naomi Wolfe just appeared on the Alex Jones show a week ago.
Even lifelong, rabid Democrats are awakening to the reality,
that what they perceived as fascism under Bush, is accelerating,
not ending under Obama.
It's now pretty clear that they've turned both the cannons
and the War on Terror itself, inward on the people.
People know. Most are afraid to speak up, or don't know
what to do? And others are still on the fence.
With what I'm going to share, if you're on the fence now,
you won't be later.
It's shit or get off the pot time people, whether you like it
or not.
And I know the vast of majority of you - don't like it.
You don't want to hear about it.
You don't want to read it.
You don't want to even think about.
You want it to just go away.
You try to convince yourself every day, that what you're
seeing with your own eyes, hearing with your own ears, and
feeling in your own gut, isn't really happening - but it is.
Denial only works so long.
America is going to have to wake up to reality whether they
want to or not.
Like I said...
They're done writing "White Papers" people.
They're running actual "War Games" right now under our nose
on a scale never before seen in a modern democracy, and yet
we sleep walk in denial.
Very shortly, denial - is going to cease to be an option.
I want you stop for a moment here.
We all know that good and evil exists.
We know that there are people who rape children, who shoot
cab drivers and 7-11 clerks in the head for $20 bucks, and
who will sell their body for a hit from a crack pipe.
Because those are not threats in our daily lives, doesn't
mean they don't exist.
The threat is real and the evil is real. But, we can safely
put it out of our minds, because the threat isn't imminent,
it's not part of our daily reality, and it's not knocking
at our front door.
But it will be soon.
And when it does...
Denial will cease to be an option.

Rosa Brooks is a far-left former Los Angeles Times columnist.
She's the former counsel to George Soros' Open Societies
Institute, that funded hard-left pressure groups, such as
MoveOn.org, which smeared Gen. David Petraeus as a betrayer of
his country, and depicted Bush in a Web ad as Adolph Hitler.
In addition to comparing Bush to Hitler, she called the the
former president in print, in the LA Times - "psychotic" and
"fanatical."
So there...
If someone can call the sitting President a psychopath, a
fanatic, and compare him to Hitler in a nationwide
print ad... you can still vent on SI and in the blogosphere,
attend Tea Parties and End the Fed rallies.
When Lou Dobbs, Jerome Corsi, or Alex Jones with nationwide
audiences in the millions gets taken away in 'cuffs...
then we'll know Free Speech has come to an official end
... and the talkin's over.
Until then... get and stay involved. Plan a Tea Party in your
local community for the 4th of July. Make copies of DVD's
and flyers with short "blurbs," online links, and the phone
numbers to Congress, and hand them out. Talk to your friends,
neighbors, co-workers and leave some DVD's & flyers here and
there.

I just saw a poll on CNN where now something like 38%
of American's now consider themselves - INDEPENDENTS!
People are throwing off the shackles of party affiliation.
No more single issue votes.
The conversation about the banksters, about the Fed, about
the bailouts, about taxes, about the loss of liberty and
the desire to right America's ship is no longer only in
the domain of alternative talk radio... it's mainstream now.
Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Lou Dobbs, and Glenn Beck
are all talking about the enemies lists from Homeland Security,
about the loss of freedom, and about the police state
environment. It's now headline news.
Don't let an angry, self-hating, extremist like Janeane Garofalo
label you. Don't let the media reports about the FBI taking
photos at Tea Parties intimidate you (remember, they already
have your photo at the DMV if they want it).
You have every right to exercise free speech online, or to
peacefully assemble and demonstrate. There is power in numbers
and they know it. These are political acts of desperation.
If 200 years ago our forefathers would have been too afraid
to speak up, and too afraid to assemble... none of us would
be here today.
What you do today, will determine the world your children live in tomorrow.
Think about that.
