Not sure...probably still conflicted when Cat Stevens was barred from entering the US.

Cat Stevens should have been barred. He supported the fatwa against Rushdie, and flatly stated that Rushdie should be killed.

As a youngster I adored Cat Stevens as one of the great voices of our time. Seeing him in concert multiple times was a highlight of my youth. But when he signed on the fatwa, I believe he enters the realm of Islamic Extremism and should not be allowed in this country. For anything.
