VANCOUVER, May 5 /CNW/ - Canadian Mining Company Inc. (the "Company") (TSXV: CNG.V) reports that further to the Company's news release of April 28th, 2009 SJ Geophysics has now completed the 3D Induced Polarization (IP) Survey on the Company's extended Raquel 3B concession on its San Bernardo Project, Alamos Mining District, Sonora, Mexico. With the excellent coordination of Minerock Group and the local crew the grid survey was completed on April 25. SJ Geophysics began mobilization the next day and data accumulation commenced April 27. Project manager Minerock Group reports "the initial readings were very good and very sharp."

The survey has been successfully completed and SJ Geophysics now has the necessary information to conduct a comprehensive interpretation of the data collected during the geophysical survey. By combining this recent data with the results from the earlier 3D IP the Company is confident the information will begin to unveil the bigger picture of the San Bernardo Project potential. SJ will supply a detailed final interpretation and corresponding report. Canadian Mining will report SJ's findings as they become available. SJ Geophysics Ltd. www.sjgeophysics.com is an industry leader in geophysical modeling and computer analysis.

The history of the Company's concessions and the extensive geological and geophysical analysis indicate the presence of a large anomaly. The completion of each phase of exploration brings Canadian Mining closer to defining a resource of economic value.

Mr. Ray Paquette CEO will spend the week of May 4 at the Company's Bullard Pass Gold Project in Arizona meeting with Canadian Mining's qualified person Dr. Pat O'Hara and others. They will conduct a site inspection of the property and mill facility and initiate moving the project forward.

Canadian Mining is a well-diversified company with stable management and an excellent potential for growth. The Company is engaged in the exploration and development of precious and base metals in the Alamos Mining District in Sonora, Mexico, the Bullard Mining District in Arizona and the exploration, development and production of industrial minerals in Canada.
